2 Peter 1:2-3 KJV: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Do you want to have grace and peace from God multiplied in your life? Then you will want to increase your precise and correct knowledge you can ascertain from rightly dividing God’s revelation in His word. God has magnified His word above everything in the universe! And God wants us to have a precise and correct knowledge of that word He has magnified even above His name, above all God represents!
Psalms 138:2 KJV: 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
It is within God’s word we learn about who and what Jesus Christ is and did for us. It is through God’s word that we learn about God’s gift of holy spirit that He will give to anyone that believes that Jesus is their Lord, and that God has raised him from the dead as the first-born from among the dead. It God’s word that teaches us how to operate this wonderful gift of holy spirit that has more power available to us than Jesus Christ had! WOW! It is because of God’s power that he has bestowed in us that we can have this precise and complete knowledge of God and His son Jesus Christ.
There are many things we can learn about living in modern day Christendom. I have written four books on topics that explain speaking in tongues, the renewed mind, and what to do next after becoming born-again. These books are all important about learning what you have as a Christian, and how to maintain and grow in knowledge and power as you mature as a Christian. This book, on the other hand will attempt to tackle some of the wisdom God has given you in the book of Proverbs that pertains to living in a godly manor or ungodly manor by exposing the methods of how the godly operate and how the ungodly operate. The book of Proverbs teaches you both kinds of lifestyles (or moral ethics or virtues) along with the resulting consequences. Proverbs teaches you “how to do the right thing.” Proverbs also teaches you how the ungodly do the wrong thing. When you know how the ungodly try to con you into doing the morally wrong thing, you can reject it and do the morally right thing.
